Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Forrest Griffin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Lynch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Forrest Griffin! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin throws a series of punches but Lynch avoids them all with ease. Griffin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Lynch with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lynch throws a combination that misses letting Griffin counter with a right hand. Lynch tries to land a leg kick but Griffin saw it coming and moves away.
Jeremy Lynch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lynch tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Griffin is able to avoid easily. Griffin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lynch moves away. Lynch scores with a shot to the body.
Griffin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lynch misses with a low kick.
No joy there for Lynch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lynch thows a leg kick but Griffin checks it and Griffin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Griffin breaks from the clinch.
Griffin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A clash of legs there as Griffin blocks the low kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lynch feints and then cracks Griffin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Griffin down. Lynch slips a jab and a cross from Griffin.

That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin blocks a leg kick. Griffin fails to land with a series of punches.
Lynch falls off balance throwing a combination
and Griffin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lynch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Griffin. Griffin connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Lynch lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Lynch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lynch throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Griffin. Griffin cracks Lynch with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Lynch misses with a few strikes there.
Griffin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lynch looks to score with a jab to the body but Griffin is just out of range. Lynch fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Griffin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Griffin checks the leg kick nicely there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lynch dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Griffin. That did some damage! Griffin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Lynch scores with a hook to the body. Griffin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Griffin throws a nice looking combination but Lynch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Griffin looks to land a combination but Lynch avoids it well. Griffin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lynch fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Lynch takes a body punch but keeps moving. Lynch swings for the body but Griffin moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Griffin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lynch tried to score with a low kick but Griffin checks it. A solid leg kick lands there for Lynch.
Lynch throws a low kick but it's checked well by Griffin. Griffin works over Lynch's head and body with a nice combination. Good work by Griffin as he checks the leg kick. Lynch does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Lynch is looking to wear down Griffin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Griffin throws a big shot that misses. Lynch throws a combination. Griffin tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Lynch misses with a double jab
and Griffin counters with a series of strikes. Lynch will be more careful next time no doubt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lynch misses with a combination
and Griffin counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Lynch down! Griffin is looking to finish but Lynch is intelligently defending himself.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Griffin controlling from the top position. Griffin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Lynch is looking to stand up but Griffin isn't so interested in that idea. Lynch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lynch tries to get out of the position. Griffin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lynch, up you get! Griffin moves out of range of the leg kick from Lynch. Lynch tries to work over Griffin's front leg with a kick but Griffin checks it. Lynch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Griffin throws a right and a left that Lynch avoids nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Forrest Griffin dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like Jeremy Lynch has been cut. Lynch throws a body shot but no joy. Griffin misses with the combination.

Griffin drops Lynch with a right and a left! Griffin comes rushing in but Lynch regains his composure and manages to keep Griffin in guard.
Oh Lynch is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Griffin stays in close to Lynch's body and controls the position. Lynch seems to have got his legs back now. Griffin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Forrest Griffin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lynch throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Griffin to counter with a crisp jab. Griffin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lynch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Griffin circles away quickly and effectively. Lynch walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Griffin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Lynch shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Griffin lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Lynch is looking to close the distance but Griffin sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Lynch crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Lynch is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Forrest Griffin! In his post fight interview, Forrest Griffin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. Jeremy Lynch was interviewed post fight and said 'I heart you!'.
