The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karl keeps the fight on the outside.
Woodroffe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Karl swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Karl has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Karl throws a right hand that Woodroffe ducks under and follows up with a left that Woodroffe also avoids with ease.

Woodroffe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Karl paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Karl lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Woodroffe out cold! Woodroffe is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

After the fight, Pernell Karl was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
