The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maldonado takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kray throws a series of punches but Maldonado avoids them all with ease.
Kray lunges at Maldonado with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Maldonado's hand.
It looks like Mohammed Maldonado has been cut.
Kray clinches up against the cage.
Maldonado slows down the pace here.
A frustrated look appears on Kray's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kray lands a nice uppercut.
Kray tries to break the clinch but Maldonado is controlling the position.
Maldonado trying to control the position but instead, Kray has worked for underhooks and has pushed Maldonado into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maldonado wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kray has him pressed against the cage.
Kray works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Kray must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kray stands up over Maldonado, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kray is looking to pass into half guard but Maldonado pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Maldonado is in guard.

Kray pushes Maldonado off and gets back to his feet.
Johny Kray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kray steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Maldonado is out on his feet! Kray sets himself and nearly takes Maldonado's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
