The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stampfer lands a really nice looking cross but Drago seems unphased.
A jab from Stampfer misses.
Stampfer misses with a double jab
and Drago counters with a nice uppercut.
Stampfer throws the left hand but Drago avoids the punch easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Drago.
Donk. Drago catches Stampfer right on the button with a cross.
Stampfer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Drago.
Drago throws a lazy right hand but Stampfer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Stampfer takes one to the side of the head.
Stampfer throws a shot from downtown. Drago moves away and avoids it.
Stampfer misses with a straight right.
Stampfer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Stampfer staying out of range there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stampfer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stampfer is rocked!
Drago ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Stampfer's jaw. Stampfer's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Drago does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ivan Drago!
