The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kruger. Plaskota does a little dance to reset his feet.
Plaskota has closed the distance and engaged Kruger in a clinch.
Plaskota has Kruger pressed against the cage, preventing Kruger from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Plaskota can't find room to land a body shot as Kruger controls the action.
Plaskota is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kruger is defending well for now.
Kruger tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kruger fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kruger has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kruger is trying to break the clinch but Plaskota is controlling him.
Plaskota has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kruger clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Kruger trying to control the action but Plaskota just sinks the hooks in.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plaskota controlling well, preventing Kruger from escaping the position.
Plaskota just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
