Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abu Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shadow has chosen Johnny B. Goode as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Shadow lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rock throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shadow sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Shadow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rock tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shadow is in Rock's guard.
Rock utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Shadow is looking to work some ground and pound but Rock has wrist control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Rock wants to sweep here but Shadow controlling him for the moment.

Shadow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rock.
Shadow bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Rock shoots in for a double leg but Shadow sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shadow avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rock misses with a left hand
and Shadow counters with a shoot takedown. Rock fights it but they end up in guard.

Rock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
