The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macari tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blake paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Blake closes the distance and clinches.

Macari has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Blake is trying to keep an underhook but Macari manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Macari tries to pass the half guard into mount. Blake knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Macari is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blake is just riding it out for now. Macari eventually gives up the hold.
Blake throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Macari is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Blake is not content to let Macari control the position.

Macari is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Blake!

Macari lands a couple of good shots and Blake has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Macari just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Blake looking very determined here, making life difficult for Macari.

Macari working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Blake is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Macari has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Blake taps out!
