The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manson tries to close the distance and clinch but Law swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Law takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Law misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Manson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Law keeps the fight on the outside.
Manson doesn't manage to clinch there - Law circles away.

Law decides to stand back up. Law steps back and let's Manson get back to his feet.

Ralphus Manson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of KingMO Law.

Law drops down looking for an ankle pick but Manson pulls his leg out and moves away.

Law fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Manson sprawls well initially but Law persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Manson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Law on the ground.

Law has hold of Manson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Manson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Law shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Manson's guard.

Manson is wriggling around but Law manages to pass to half guard.

Law scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Law seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Manson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Despite being in the dominant position, KingMO Law just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Both fighters circling a little - Law finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Manson is rocked!
Manson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Manson tries to get out of the position.

Manson darts in trying to clinch

and Law counters with a shoot takedown. Manson fights it but they end up in guard.

Law postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Law winds up and cracks Manson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
