Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andre Walters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rex Mason!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mason has taken the fight to the clinch.

Walters lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Mason looking for submissions off his back.
Mason regains full guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mason is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mason tries to free his leg and advance position but Walters is retaining full guard.
Walters throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Walters looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mason is one step ahead there.

Mason drops back looking for a leg! Walters is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Walters manages to kick Mason off! Mason jumps back into Walters's guard.
Mason passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Mason is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Walters is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walters manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mason's best efforts.
Walters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mason on the ground.
Walters tries to get to full guard but Mason has control of the leg.
Mason is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Walters looking for a sweep. Not yet Walters, not yet.
Walters thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Walters trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Walters keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom.
Walters wants to sweep here but Mason controlling him for the moment.
Walters on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walters tries to get out of the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Walters instigates a clinch.
Mason throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Walters is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Mason successfully pulls guard.

Mason is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Walters frees his head nicely. Oh but Mason has switched to an armbar! Walters is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
