Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lon Osborn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinithin Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lon Osborn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Quinithin Johnson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Johnson throws a big right hand that misses. Osborn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Johnson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Johnson wants to stand but Osborn has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Johnson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round. Osborn striking off his back but it's not causing Johnson any problems. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Osborn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Osborn tries to clinch but Johnson moves away and Johnson counters by clinching up. Osborn is looking for a takedown. Johnson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Osborn uses from the top position. Johnson trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Osborn from controlling successfully. Osborn is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Johnson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Osborn is looking to stand up but Johnson won't let him.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Osborn gets caught napping as Johnson dives in and scores a takedown. Osborn manages to retain guard. Osborn looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Osborn throws his legs up looking for a submission but Johnson uses it to pass to side control.
Osborn avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Johnson.

It looks like Johnson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Johnson working the ground and pound but Osborn is defending the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Osborn keeps working. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Johnson decides to take the fight back to the feet. Johnson clinches with his opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Johnson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Johnson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinithin Johnson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Osborn tries to clinch up. Osborn clinches up with Johnson and pushes him back against the cage. Osborn tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Osborn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Johnson has him pressed against the cage. Osborn is trying to drag Johnson to the mat but Johnson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Johnson has clasped his hands together around Osborn's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Quinithin Johnson has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Osborn is trying to get back to half guard. Johnson tries to move to mount but Osborn blocks the move with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Johnson stalls from top position. Johnson passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Osborn! Johnson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Johnson working for a guillotine from mount but Osborn is in no mood to give up. Johnson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Osborn is on top in guard.
Osborn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Osborn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Osborn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Johnson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Osborn defends it easily. Osborn missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Osborn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Osborn is aware though and is defending well. Osborn trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Osborn is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control.

Osborn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Johnson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Quinithin Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Johnson gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson wants to take a breather but Osborn is having none of it. Johnson stands up out of the half guard. Johnson feints and then cracks Osborn's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Osborn down. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson instigates a clinch. Johnson scores with a shoulder strike. Johnson tightens his grip and picks Osborn up, before dumping him to the ground. Osborn manages to land in guard. Osborn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson gets to his feet. Osborn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Johnson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Osborn trying to hold on to Johnson's head to control him but Johnson postures up.
Osborn misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Osborn looking for submissions off his back. Osborn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Osborn looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Osborn is refusing to be controlled, as Johnson sits in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Osborn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Osborn gets caught napping as Johnson dives in and scores a takedown. Osborn manages to retain guard. Johnson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Johnson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Osborn has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Johnson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Johnson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Sloppy strikes from Johnson. Those never looked like landing. Johnson keeps the fight on the outside. Johnson misses with a wild combination.
Johnson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Osborn is trying to defend but Johnson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well, if Johnson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

And that's the end of the fight! Quinithin Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
