Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Victor Van Adams!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Adams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Van Adams dives in for a single leg takedown but Stallone sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Van Adams's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stallone dives in and grabs Van Adams's left leg, looking for a takedown. Van Adams pushes down on Stallone's head and hops out.
Van Adams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stallone tries to avoid it but Van Adams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stallone to the ground. Stallone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Van Adams shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stallone as he jumps to the side.
Sly Stallone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Van Adams.
Van Adams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Van Adams shoots in looking for a takedown. Stallone tries to sprawl out of it but Van Adams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stallone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Stallone is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Van Adams wants to stand but Stallone has his arm trapped.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stallone tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Van Adams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The strikes coming from Van Adams are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Van Adams cracks Stallone with a big elbow.
Stallone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Van Adams on the ground.

Van Adams scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Stallone to see if he's OK.
Stallone is trying to control Van Adams's posture but Van Adams avoids it.
Van Adams tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Van Adams has hold of Stallone's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Stallone tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Van Adams cranks the arm and Stallone screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stallone, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Victor Van Adams!
