1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miguel Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez ducks under a wild hook from Tillashaw. Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown but Tillashaw manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sanchez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Tillashaw throws an overhand right that lands on Sanchez's shoulder, as Sanchez tries to avoid the shot. Tillashaw throws a poor cross that misses
and Sanchez makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A shot to the body from Tillashaw misses and Sanchez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sanchez moves in looking to clinch but Tillashaw pushes him off. Tillashaw throws an off balance right hand
and Sanchez counters with a flying knee. Nice. Sanchez is looking to clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tillashaw misses with some punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tillashaw blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sanchez blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

DJ Tillashaw dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sanchez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tillashaw throws out the jab. Sanchez takes a jab right on the kisser.

Sanchez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tillashaw defends well and Sanchez ends up having to push Tillashaw into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Sanchez tries to stall but Tillashaw uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

The fighters circling - Tillashaw throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Miguel Sanchez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Danga de danga de dang - Tillashaw scores with a four punch combination! Tillashaw leaves Sanchez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tillashaw throws out a loose jab but Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tillashaw tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sanchez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

DJ Tillashaw is winning the standup battle so far. Sanchez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tillashaw keeps working. Tillashaw pushes Sanchez off looking to stand but Sanchez dives back in and keeps control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Tillashaw throws a lazy right hand but Sanchez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Sanchez tries to clinch there but Tillashaw circles away.
Sanchez moves out of range as Tillashaw strikes. Sanchez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A swing and a miss from Tillashaw. Sanchez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tillashaw with a hook. Tillashaw is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Sanchez's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. The fighters circling - Tillashaw throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tillashaw scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Tillashaw moves into the clinch successfully.

Sanchez tries to break the clinch but Tillashaw is controlling the position. Tillashaw can't find room to land a body shot as Sanchez controls the action.

And that's the end of the fight! DJ Tillashaw showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tillashaw, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
