The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makela tries to clinch but Don is having none of it.
Makela misses with a head kick.
Makela looks to clinch
and Don counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Makela thinking.

and Don counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Don thuds his right hand into Makela's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Don lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Makela takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Don connects with the punch.
Makela is rocked!
Don catches Makela with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Makela forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
