Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walt Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Walt Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kowalski regains half guard. Torres is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kowalski gets back to full guard.
Torres preventing the sweep. Kowalski had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Torres is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kowalski Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Torres's back instead. Torres tries to roll but Kowalski sticks to his back.
Kowalski doesn't have the hooks in and Torres manages to turn into his guard.
Torres thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kowalski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Torres manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Torres keeping moving, preventing Kowalski from controlling successfully. Kowalski is looking to work some ground and pound but Torres has wrist control. Torres throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Torres is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kowalski missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kowalski drops back looking for a leg! Torres is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Torres manages to kick Kowalski off! Kowalski jumps back into Torres's guard. Torres throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kowalski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kowalski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kowalski looking to pass the guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kowalski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Torres counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Torres is thwarting Kowalski's attempts to control the position. Torres is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres is trying to control the action in half guard but Kowalski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Torres is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kowalski is just riding it out for now. Torres eventually gives up the hold. Kowalski wants to control but Torres is keeping busy and won't allow it. Torres is working for a submission of some sort.
Kowalski slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kowalski is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Torres rolls with it to try and escape but Kowalski cranks on the arm and Torres is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
