Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocco Balboa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dirk Diggler! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balboa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Excellent takedown into side control there by Balboa. Balboa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diggler keeps working. Balboa wants to stand but Diggler has his arm trapped. Diggler is looking for a sweep. Balboa trying to control the position but Diggler is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diggler can't do much from the bottom here. Diggler sneaks back into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Diggler defending well though. Balboa has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Balboa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Diggler is looking to escape. Diggler is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Balboa get's back to his feet. Diggler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Diggler is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Balboa is defending well. Balboa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Balboa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Balboa tries for a takedown but Diggler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Balboa on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Balboa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diggler's waist but Diggler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Balboa off to one side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Balboa is defended easily by Diggler. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocco Balboa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diggler rushes Balboa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Balboa gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Diggler.

Diggler looks winded! Diggler has Balboa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Balboa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Balboa tries to pull guard but Diggler won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Diggler is trying to break the clinch but Balboa is controlling him. Balboa tries to pull guard but Diggler won't allow it.

Diggler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Balboa defends it nicely. Balboa lands with a kick to the ribs.
Balboa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Balboa fails with a takedown attempt. Balboa is looking to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Balboa misses with a takedown attempt - Diggler sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Diggler tries for a takedown but Balboa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Diggler circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Balboa moves into range and clinches up with Diggler. We've been informed that Diggler has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Balboa has a couple of punches blocked by Diggler.
Balboa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Balboa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diggler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Balboa somewhat. Balboa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Diggler can do to turn this around? Balboa shoots in looking for a takedown. Diggler tries to sprawl out of it but Balboa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diggler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Diggler shoots in for a double leg but Balboa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Balboa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Diggler manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Diggler as Balboa shoots in. Balboa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diggler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Balboa somewhat. Diggler slips a jab and a cross from Balboa.
Balboa tries to keep at a distance but Diggler has taken the fight into the clinch. Balboa dodges an elbow strike from Diggler.

Balboa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Diggler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Balboa's waist but Balboa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Diggler off to one side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balboa goes for a double leg but Diggler avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Diggler continues to drive forward. Diggler wants a takedown but no success here.

Diggler is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Diggler wants to control from the top but Balboa keeps moving. Diggler stopping the sweep attempt from Balboa. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Balboa throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diggler stands up and waves to Balboa to follow him. Diggler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Balboa tries to avoid it but Diggler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Balboa to the ground. Balboa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Balboa tries to clinch there but Diggler circles away.
Balboa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Balboa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Diggler shoots in for a takedown but Balboa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocco Balboa dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Balboa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Diggler to the mat! Diggler manages to get full guard. Balboa trying to control the position from guard on top but Diggler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Balboa drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Diggler manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Balboa has Diggler in his guard. Diggler stopping the sweep attempt from Balboa. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Diggler takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Diggler stands and steps away. Balboa gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rocco Balboa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Balboa slaps away a takedown attempt from Diggler, before circling back to the center of the mat. Diggler stuffs the takedown. Balboa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Diggler. Balboa tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Diggler defends well and Balboa ends up having to push Diggler into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Diggler is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Balboa pulls him back up using the underhooks. Rocco Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dirk Diggler. Balboa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Diggler walks away with a smile on his face. Balboa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balboa clobbers Diggler with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. No joy there for Balboa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Balboa lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Nice shot by Diggler. Balboa shoots in looking for a takedown. Diggler tries to sprawl out of it but Balboa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diggler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Balboa has taken the fight to the clinch.

Diggler keeps the fight on the outside. Balboa takes a swing at Diggler's ribcage but misses. Balboa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Diggler, pushing him back against the cage. Balboa is looking to take this one to the mat. Diggler lands with a short punch from the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Diggler passes Balboa's left leg - he's now in half guard. Diggler slows the pace down in half guard. Balboa tries to kick Diggler off but Diggler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Diggler decides to return to a standing position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Balboa. Dirk Diggler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rocco Balboa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Balboa blocks a head kick by Diggler.
And that's the end of the fight! Rocco Balboa showed his dominance in that final round. Well Balboa has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
