16 - 27 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Billy Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 37 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krammer Hussein! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hussein rushes Bob and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Hussein drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bob gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hussein looking for a takedown. Hussein has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bob is trying to keep an underhook but Hussein manages to get the takedown into half guard. Hussein is keen to just control but Bob is a slippery customer. Bob is looking for a sweep. Hussein is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hussein is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Bob is staying active underneath Hussein, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hussein trying to work for an americana but Bob has managed to regain full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hussein drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bob looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bob looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bob! Bob working the head and body with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob is chipping away with strikes.
Hussein can't do much from the bottom here. Bob wants to control but Hussein is keeping him busy. Hussein is trying to improve his position. Bob works to advance to full mount. Hussein defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Bob looking for a guillotine from mount but Hussein is having none of it. Bob lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hussein taking shots to the head. Bob landing punches.
Hussein is rocked! Bob looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Hussein is still in real trouble! Can Bob finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bob cracks Hussein with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Bob! Billy Bob decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
