Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Talib Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Talib Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Graves!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graves manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Singh manages to get himself to full guard.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Singh.

The referee asks Singh politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Singh prefers to stall for the moment though.
Graves is looking for a sweep.

Singh is breathing heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Graves is not content to let Singh control the position.

Singh is trying to ground and pound but Graves uses the momentary lack of control by Singh to regain half guard.
Singh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Graves on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Talib Singh will probably get the nod.
That's time! Singh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Graves feints and as Singh raises his hands in defense, Graves changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Singh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Singh takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Singh is fighting to break Graves's control of his arms but Graves is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Singh shoots in and bounces Graves off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Graves is on top in guard.
Graves looking to sit in guard and control but Singh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Singh drops back looking for a leg! Graves is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Graves manages to kick Singh off! Singh jumps back into Graves's guard.
Graves will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Singh stands and steps away. Graves gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Singh is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Graves.

Graves gets caught flat footed, as Singh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Singh decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Graves, up you get!

Dustin Graves has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Graves is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Singh's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Singh's back!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Talib Singh.
Well Singh has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
