Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Stella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christer F Asplund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stella is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Dan Stella has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asplund jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Stella is breathing heavily.
Stella keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Stella on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Asplund lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stella backs up against the cage.

Dan Stella's cut is getting worse.
Asplund lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Asplund closes the distance and clinches.

Asplund breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Asplund closes the distance and clinches up with Stella, looking for a takedown. Asplund pushes Stella against the cage but Stella circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stella tries to keep at a distance but Asplund has taken the fight into the clinch.

A jab-cross combination lands for Asplund and sends Stella crashing to the mat! Asplund follows him down to the mat - Stella regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Stella is rocked!

Asplund stands up and beckons Stella to join him on the feet.
Oh Stella is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Asplund clinches with his opponent.
Stella gets underhooks to prevent Asplund's takedown attempt.
Stella seems to have got his legs back now.

Asplund Rushes Stella and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Stella is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Asplund Piles on the pressure and Stella crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
