Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jojiro Yamanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batista comes to the cage accompanied by wrecking ball. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Batista! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jojiro Yamanaka! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batista throws a right and a left that Yamanaka avoids nicely. Yamanaka connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Batista tries a low kick but Yamanaka avoids it. Yamanaka blocks a head kick by Batista.
Batista throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Batista throws a body punch but Yamanaka moves out of range. Batista misses with a low kick. Batista throws a head kick that misses. Yamanaka misses with a straight right. Batista looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Yamanaka checks a leg kick. Batista misses with a double jab
and Yamanaka counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dave Batista seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batista misses with a body kick. Yamanaka keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Batista throws a nice looking combination but Yamanaka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yamanaka throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Yamanaka slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Batista throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Batista thows a leg kick but Yamanaka checks it and Yamanaka counters with a series of strikes. Batista will be more careful next time no doubt. Yamanaka steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Batista. That one must have hurt.

Batista misses with a low kick as Yamanaka jumps back. Yamanaka lunges at Batista with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Batista's hand. Batista lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Batista throws a nice inside leg kick. Batista tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Batista catches Yamanaka with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Batista throws a hook but Yamanaka blocks it. Batista throws a head kick but Yamanaka moves out of range.

Batista thows a left - swing and a miss! Batista lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yamanaka circles away quickly and effectively. No joy there for Batista, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Batista throws a half hearted mid kick. Yamanaka lands a nice hook to Batista's body. Batista takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Yamanaka throws a combination. Batista tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Yamanaka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Batista. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Batista dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Yamanaka might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Batista has got the better of the exchanges. Yamanaka throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Yamanaka looks to score with a jab to the body but Batista is just out of range. Batista throws a right hand that Yamanaka ducks under and follows up with a left that Yamanaka also avoids with ease. Yamanaka dodges the punch combination from Batista.

Batista looks for the body kick but Yamanaka saw that one coming. Yamanaka throws a hook but Batista avoids it easily. Yamanaka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Batista stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Yamanaka throws a body punch but Batista moves out of range. Batista with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Batista moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Yamanaka's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Batista throws a right and a left that both miss. Dave Batista is winning the standup battle so far. Good standup being displayed there by Yamanaka as he connects with a hook. Batista throws a series of punches but Yamanaka moves out of range. Batista is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Yamanaka can do to turn this around? Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Batista swings away with a leg kick that misses. Yamanaka keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Batista is rocked! Batista pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Oh Batista is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Batista switches off momentarily and Yamanaka cracks him with a monster right hand! Batista topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Yamanaka dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Yamanaka!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jojiro Yamanaka! Jojiro Yamanaka decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. In defeat, Dave Batista stepped up to the mic, saying 'suck it'.
