Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Drunken Hermit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crazy Kure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Crazy Kure was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drunken Hermit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Crazy Kure! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kure fails with a takedown attempt. Kure throws a series of punches but Hermit moves out of range. Kure tries to clinch up but Hermit circles away and keeps his distance. Kure tries to sprawl but Hermit drives through with a takedown into half guard. Hermit missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hermit is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kure has managed to free his arm - good work. Hermit looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kure with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kure actively working from the bottom here. Hermit is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kure doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hermit. Hermit is trying to work for a kimura but Kure is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hermit not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hermit slips a nice elbow through Kure's hands, connecting with Kure's forehead. Hermit looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kure keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hermit seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kure does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hermit stalling away here and it's allowed Kure to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Kure keeping moving, preventing Hermit from controlling successfully. Hermit throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hermit lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hermit pushing down on Kure's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kure trying to control but Hermit postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hermit is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kure doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hermit. Hermit trying to control from half guard but Kure is working away. Nice strikes from Hermit there. Kure regains full guard. Nicely done. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hermit accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hermit looking to pass the guard. Hermit trying to control the position from guard on top but Kure is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hermit wants to get up but he can't break Kure's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kure tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hermit swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kure shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hermit sprawls well. Hermit wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kure gets slowly back to his feet. Hermit slaps away a takedown attempt from Kure, before circling back to the center of the mat. Drunken Hermit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crazy Kure. Kure has a takedown stuffed. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hermit scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kure looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drunken Hermit dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kure throws a series of punches but Hermit avoids them all with ease. Hermit gets a takedown into half guard. Kure trying to hold on to Hermit's head to control him but Hermit postures up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hermit connects with a nice short shot to Kure's temple. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hermit looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Hermit is looking to take a break and control but Kure is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ground and pound from Hermit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kure blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hermit. Hermit lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Hermit misses with a head shot. Kure uses the momentum to regain guard. Hermit throwing strikes from guard but Kure blocks nicely. Hermit throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kure works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kure utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hermit trying to control the position from guard on top but Kure is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hermit is in close to Kure's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kure is trying to keep Hermit in close.
Hermit drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kure manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hermit has Kure in his guard. Kure trying to control the position from guard on top but Hermit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kure wants to pass the guard but Hermit is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kure is fighting to break Hermit's control of his arms but Hermit is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kure got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hermit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kure has managed to get both his arms back between Hermit's legs - danger averted. Kure trying to control but Hermit is working from the bottom. Hermit looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kure wants to pass the guard but Hermit is keeping the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Hermit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hermit closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Drunken Hermit overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hermit wants to control but Kure is keeping him busy. Hermit throws an elbow but Kure slips to the side and avoids it well. Kure can't do much from the bottom here. Kure defending against the ground and pound. Kure is looking for a sweep. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hermit is chipping away with strikes.
Kure struggling a bit here. Hermit throwing strikes but Kure manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drunken Hermit dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Kure misses with a takedown attempt and Hermit counters with a shoot takedown. Kure fights it but they end up in guard. Hermit trying to control but Kure is working from the bottom. Hermit scoring with some ground and pound. Hermit working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kure's head. Hermit loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hermit lands a couple of elbows. Hermit trying to control but Kure is working from the bottom. Hermit is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kure is just riding it out for now. Hermit eventually gives up the hold. Hermit seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kure does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hermit jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kure manages to avoid the submission attempt. Hermit throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hermit goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kure rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hermit's guard! Nice work there by Kure! Hermit has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Kure wants to pass the guard but Hermit is keeping the position. Kure keeps trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drunken Hermit is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hermit tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kure wants to control from the top but Hermit keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hermit looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that's the end of the fight! Drunken Hermit showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hermit has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
