Souza comes to the ring accompanied by Los Porongas - Silêncio. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brick House!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
House misses with a jab, cross combination.
House cracks Souza with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
House throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
House fails to land with a series of punches.
Souza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with House but House pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Souza shoots in but no luck this time.
Souza has his takedown stuffed
and House cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Souza. That's going to take a lot out of him.
House throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
House stuffs the takedown attempt from Souza. Souza gets slowly back to his feet.

and House counters with a crisp one two that drops Souza! House thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Souza to his feet! Souza is in big trouble!

Souza is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Souza avoids the head kick by House.
Oh Souza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brick House seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
House looks for a left high kick but can't connect. House backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Souza's temple! It sends Souza violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as House celebrates and the doctors try to help Souza!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Brick House!
Brick House spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
