Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Trap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Trap looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 21 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Trap! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Johnson! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trap fails with the takedown. Johnson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Trap misses with a takedown attempt so Johnson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Trap is breathing heavily. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Trap is keeping the position. Johnson advances position into side control! Trap prevents Johnson from moving into mount. Trap is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Trap prevents Johnson from moving into mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trap struggling a bit here. Johnson tries to stand but Trap is controlling his head. Trap is working to avoid the ground and pound but Johnson connects with a decent elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trap is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Johnson off and has taken his back! Trap keeps control of the position as Johnson tries to break free.
Johnson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Johnson tries to reverse the position but Trap maintains control. Johnson is still trying to improve position. Johnson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Trap. Trap landing punches. Trap landing strikes from the mount. Johnson trying desperately to get to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Johnson is squirming around, avoiding Trap's attempts to control the action. Trap with shots to the head and body - Johnson looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson is wriggling around trying to escape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Trap connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Johnson is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Johnson is desperately trying to improve his position but Trap has a good base and remains in mount. Trap sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Johnson is looking to get to half guard. Trap working away from the top, dropping strikes. Johnson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Trap lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
A nice elbow there by Trap.
Johnson is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trap postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Johnson is out cold - huge knockout for Trap!
