These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Bear darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Lord is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Bear jumps into side control!
Bear lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lord down.
Lord sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Lord is looking to improve his position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bear connects with a nice short shot to Lord's temple.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lord can do anything to dispel that myth.
