Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mustaffa Spliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Tarnowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tarnowski has chosen Hemp Gru - Sami swoi as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

41 - 44 - 0, fighting out of London, Mustaffa Spliff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michal Tarnowski! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spliff closes the distance looking to clinch and Tarnowski counters with a takedown into side control. Spliff is trying to buck Tarnowski off. Tarnowski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spliff keeps working. Spliff is trying to buck Tarnowski off. Tarnowski is working Spliff over with some ground and pound from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tarnowski creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Spliff sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Spliff is trying to get back to his feet. Tarnowski in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Spliff is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tarnowski asserts his dominance and retains side control. Spliff trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Spliff is trying to escape the position but Tarnowski is controlling the position. Tarnowski looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Spliff is avoiding damage well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spliff pushes Tarnowski away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tarnowski gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Tarnowski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Spliff is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Spliff is pushing Tarnowski's head away, looking to escape. Tarnowski manages to hold on to the position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Spliff rushes Tarnowski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tarnowski tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Spliff misses with a body punch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Spliff keeping moving, preventing Tarnowski from controlling successfully. Spliff is looking to stand up but Tarnowski isn't so interested in that idea. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Spliff moves into range and clinches up with Tarnowski. Tarnowski is trying to pull guard but Spliff turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Spliff lands a body punch. Spliff working some nice short punches in the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Spliff fails to land. Spliff gets through Tarnowski's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Spliff leaning his opponent against the cage. Tarnowski is leaning against Spliff and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Spliff tries to throw a body punch but Tarnowski avoids it by throwing Spliff back against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tarnowski. Tarnowski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Spliff wants to clinch and Tarnowski counters with an inside leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Spliff closes the distance but Tarnowski moves to the side and Tarnowski counters with a nice double leg into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Spliff wants to clinch but Tarnowski slips to the side and Tarnowski counters with a stiff right hand. Spliff tries to clinch and Tarnowski counters with a shoot takedown. Spliff fights it but they end up in guard. Spliff wants to stand but Tarnowski is controlling the position. Tarnowski forces his way into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tarnowski moves into full mount! Spliff won't be happy about that! Spliff's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spliff tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tarnowski counters with a nice low kick that buckles Spliff's knee momentarily. Tarnowski throws a nice looking combination but Spliff bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Spliff takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Spliff wants to clinch. Spliff tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tarnowski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Spliff tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tarnowski makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Spliff moves to clinch but Tarnowski breaks away and Tarnowski counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Tarnowski makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Mustaffa Spliff has scored more points in the clinch so far. Tarnowski tries to work over Spliff's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Tarnowski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mustaffa Spliff has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tarnowski goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mustaffa Spliff is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Spliff closes the distance looking to clinch and Tarnowski counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Spliff closes the distance but Tarnowski moves to the side and Tarnowski counters with a single leg into guard. Spliff didn't expect that. Tarnowski stops Spliff from standing up. Tarnowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spliff swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spliff wants to get back to his feet but Tarnowski is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Tarnowski with a flurry of punches that miss. Tarnowski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Spliff has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tarnowski has managed to get both his arms back between Spliff's legs - danger averted. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Spliff is looking to stand up but Tarnowski isn't so interested in that idea. Michal Tarnowski is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Tarnowski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spliff works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Spliff throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Spliff avoids the body shot from Tarnowski.
Mustaffa Spliff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tarnowski circles away from the clinch attempt.
A chopping leg kick lands by Tarnowski. Tarnowski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
