Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Sense (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hori Taka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trevor Sense has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trevor Sense!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hori Taka!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sense cracks Taka with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Taka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sense.
Taka looks to land a left hand but Sense moved out of range nicely.
Sense keeps the fight on the outside.
Sense closes the distance and clinches.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
The crowd are getting on Taka's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sense shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Taka sprawls well. Taka wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sense gets slowly back to his feet.

Taka pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sense is out of range and Taka settles back down.

Taka is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sense.

Horrible takedown attempt by Sense or perhaps it was just good defense by Taka, which made it look bad.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee calls for Taka to work.
Taka tries to throw a body punch but Sense avoids it by throwing Taka back against the cage.
Sense jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Taka walks away with a smile on his face. Sense gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Taka in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
