The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner throws a chopping leg kick but Paul manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Banner throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Banner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Banner throws a head kick but Paul moves out of range.
We've been informed that Banner has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Paul connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Vince Banner has been cut.
Paul lands a jab to the nose.
Banner is rocked!
Banner drops his hands for a split second and Paul immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Banner face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Paul follows up with a right hand that knocks Banner into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jed Paul!
After winning the bout, Jed Paul thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
