Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Jee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turd Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jee comes into the arena with Get The Funk Out Of My Face blaring out of the sound system. Karl Jee has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jee fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ferguson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jee misses with a two punch combination.
Jee throws a right hand that Ferguson ducks under and follows up with a left that Ferguson also avoids with ease.

Jee tries to keep at a distance but Ferguson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ferguson manages to break the clinch.
Jee throws a sloppy head kick and Ferguson moves out of range easily.
Jee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ferguson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferguson tries to pull guard but Jee holds him up against the cage and eventually Ferguson drops back down to his feet.

Ferguson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jee uses from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jee wants to stand but Ferguson is controlling his posture from full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jee wants to clinch but Ferguson slips to the side

and Ferguson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jee's guard.
Ferguson wants to control from the top but Jee keeps moving.

Turd Ferguson dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ferguson wants to control for a moment but Jee uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Ferguson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jee is working away from the top position though.

Ferguson shoots in but Jee avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Ferguson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jee won't be happy with that.
Jee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jee tries to get out of the position.

Jee throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

It looks like Turd Ferguson has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ferguson.
Ferguson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Jee is staying active underneath Ferguson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Jee throws a right and a left that Ferguson avoids nicely.
Ferguson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ferguson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jee but Jee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Karl Jee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ferguson shoots in for a double leg but Jee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ferguson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jee as he jumps to the side.
Ferguson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ferguson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jee is fending him off so far but Ferguson persists. Nope, Jee circles away and we're back to standing.

Jee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ferguson.

Ferguson shoots in and bounces Jee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ferguson looking to sit in guard and control but Jee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ferguson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jee's guard.
Karl Jee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Turd Ferguson has got the better of the ground game so far.

Jee wants to sweep but no luck.
Jee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ferguson on the ground.
Ferguson tries to free his leg and advance position but Jee is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jee trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Ferguson trying to control the position from guard on top but Jee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ferguson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ferguson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Karl Jee.
I think Ferguson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
