Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cordin Siprus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeda Shingen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cordin Siprus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeda Shingen! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shingen clinches with his opponent.
Shingen content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Shingen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Shingen moves into the clinch. Shingen lands a hook to the side of the head. Shingen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Siprus tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Siprus putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Shingen in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Siprus working aggressively here.
Shingen is pushing Siprus up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Shingen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Siprus tries to land knees in the clinch but Shingen avoids the damage to the body. Siprus trying to land knees to the body.
Shingen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Shingen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Siprus has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Shingen manages to escape and get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action! Siprus gets a clinch. Siprus misses with a short punch on the inside. Siprus tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Shingen avoids it.

Shingen has thrown a lot of knees so far in this fight and we're lead to believe that's something he's been working on the gym prior to this fight. Shingen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Siprus tries to land knees in the clinch but Shingen avoids the damage to the body. Siprus tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Shingen avoids it. Shingen lands an uppercut. Shingen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Shingen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Shingen manages to break the clinch.

Shingen darts in and clinches Siprus up against the cage. Siprus throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Shingen blocks it with crossed arms. Siprus misses with a short punch on the inside. Shingen is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. A quick uppercut on the inside from Shingen. Shingen has Siprus pushed against the cage. Shingen breaks from the clinch.
Shingen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Siprus's guard. Shingen scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Shingen content to stall in guard here. Siprus wants to stand but Shingen is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shingen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Shingen stands and steps away. Siprus gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Cordin Siprus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Siprus moves into the clinch. Shingen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Shingen instigates a clinch. Shingen drags the fight down to the ground.
Shingen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Shingen seems keen to control Siprus's posture. Siprus wants to stand but Shingen is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Shingen manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Shingen distracts Siprus with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shingen working some strikes from top position. Shingen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takeda Shingen dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Shingen scores with a takedown into Siprus's guard. Shingen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Shingen throwing strikes but missing. Shingen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shingen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Shingen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Shingen prevents Siprus from getting back to his feet. Shingen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Shingen is standing up over Siprus. Siprus looks to escape but Shingen dives into side control.
Shingen decides to take the fight back to the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Siprus clinches up with Shingen and pushes him back against the cage. Siprus tries to land knees in the clinch but Shingen avoids the damage to the body. Siprus comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Shingen managing to block the knees to the body from Siprus.
Cordin Siprus has scored more points in the clinch so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Shingen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Shingen drops back for a leg! Shingen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Siprus's head. Shingen stays in close to Siprus's body and controls the position. Shingen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Siprus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shingen on the ground. Shingen stands up from Siprus's guard - Shingen perhaps looking for a knockout. Siprus clinches up against the cage. Shingen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Shingen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Shingen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Takeda Shingen has got the better of the ground game so far. Shingen lands a couple of digs. Shingen stands and steps away. Siprus gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Siprus clinches with his opponent.
Shingen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Shingen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Siprus, pushing him back against the cage. Siprus's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! This has been an exciting period of action! Shingen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Siprus swings wildly with an uppercut but Shingen uses good head movement to avoid it. Shingen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Siprus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Shingen to score an easy takedown into full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takeda Shingen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Shingen pushes Siprus away with a front kick. Siprus clinches. Siprus looking to throw knees to the head but Shingen is blocking nicely.
Shingen works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Shingen won't allow Siprus to get back to his feet. Shingen's corner is telling him to maintain position. Shingen pushing down on Siprus's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Shingen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Siprus! Shingen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Siprus is trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shingen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Shingen landing shots from mount. Shingen looking to finish Siprus with some ground and pound. This is bad for Siprus! Shingen punishing his opponent with strikes. Shingen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Siprus can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Shingen lands a couple of good shots and Siprus has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Oooh a big shot gets through from Shingen. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Siprus defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Shingen's arms. Shingen is looking for the choke from the back position but Siprus is controlling his hands well. Shingen lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Shingen.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Shingen has got one arm under Siprus's chin. This could be trouble... Siprus trying to control the other hand but Shingen gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Siprus has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Takeda Shingen! During a confident post fight interview, Takeda Shingen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
