Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buonaparte Sartine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sartine fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sartine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Johnson has Sartine pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Johnson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sartine tumbling to the mat - Johnson dives into Sartine's guard.
Sartine looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Sartine is looking for a triangle but Johnson pushes his legs off easily.

Sartine keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Johnson's efforts to push away.
Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sartine walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sartine buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Johnson shoots in and drives through. Sartine sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sartine moves into the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sartine creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Johnson wants to break free but Sartine has control.
Sartine lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Johnson or not.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buonaparte Sartine dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Johnson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Sartine knocks Johnson out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
