Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Moe Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Yeun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Moe Lester has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Moe Lester seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lester shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Yeun is trying to defend but Lester finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lester passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Yeun!
Lester wants to control the pace but Yeun is squirming around nicely.

Lester looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lester unloads with some shots from mount but Yeun bucks and avoids them well.

Lester get's back to his feet.
Lester shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Yeun sprawls well. Yeun wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lester gets slowly back to his feet.
Yeun throws a combination. Lester tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Lester bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Lester is trying to get an arm triangle but Yeun is defending well.
Lester is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Lester creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Yeun sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Lester wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yeun keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lester works to advance to full mount. Yeun defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Yeun looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lester content just to control the position here.

Lester trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Lester wants to take his opponent's back but instead Yeun manages to regain half guard.
Lester thows a huge punch but Yeun dodges it nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Yeun is looking to improve his position.

Lester is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Yeun doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lester.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Yeun fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Lester takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lester gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lester shoots and misses
and Yeun connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lester looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Yeun uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lester has time to react.

Lester shoots in for a takedown but Yeun shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lester misses with a takedown attempt - Yeun sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lester jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yeun walks away with a smile on his face. Lester gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Yeun looks to land a combination but Lester avoids it well.

A little jabbing left from Yeun on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Moe Lester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lester on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Lester changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yeun looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lester is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yeun is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Yeun wants to get back to his feet but Lester drags him back down.
Lester advances to mount.
Lester content just to control the position here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lester takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lester is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Yeun is surviving well by controlling Lester's body position as best he can.

Steven Yeun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
