Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dick Inc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inc comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Moon Rising. Dick Inc could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Charlie Murphy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 21 - 1, fighting out of London, Dick Inc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Murphy.
Murphy jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fighters circle momentarily. Murphy darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Murphy misses with a kick to the body.

Inc throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Murphy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Inc is in Murphy's guard.
Inc prevents Murphy from getting back to his feet.
Murphy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Murphy has control of Inc's left arm, preventing Inc from doing any damage.
Inc trying to control but Murphy is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murphy wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Murphy is on top in guard.

Inc has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Murphy trying to control but Inc is working from the bottom.
Inc wants to sweep here but Murphy controlling him for the moment.

Inc has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Murphy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Murphy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Inc looking to hit a scissor sweep but Murphy is one step ahead there.

Murphy decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Murphy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Inc.
Murphy cracks Inc with a right hand to the side of the head.
Inc ducks right into an uppercut from Murphy.

Inc rushes Murphy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Murphy tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Murphy misses with a hook from the clinch.
Murphy lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Inc backwards.
Murphy struggles to land a body shot inside as Inc controls his hands.
Inc is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Murphy to keep the fight standing.
Inc working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Inc is struggling to control the position.
Murphy has a couple of punches blocked by Inc.

Murphy gets through Inc's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Inc tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Murphy's elbow.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Inc misses with a hook from the clinch.
Inc tries to stall but Murphy uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Inc pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Murphy counters with a thumping low kick.

Murphy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Murphy tries to clinch but Inc moves out of range.
Inc drops down looking for a counter takedown but Murphy sprawls and moves away.
Good shot there by Inc.
Murphy scores with a nice strike.
Murphy misses with an attempted mid kick.
Murphy moves in looking to clinch but Inc pushes him off.
Inc attempts a counter takedown but Murphy avoids it well and moves away.
Inc has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Murphy finds it's way round the side to connect with Inc's head.
Murphy misses with a low kick.
Inc rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Murphy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Murphy connects with a leg kick. Inc looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Murphy gets a clinch.
Inc tries to break the clinch but Murphy is controlling the position.
Inc pushes Murphy back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Inc lands with a left to the head.
Murphy can't find room to land a body shot as Inc controls the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charlie Murphy dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Inc circles away from the clinch attempt.
Murphy throws a series of punches but Inc avoids them all with ease.
Inc appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Murphy tries to keep at a distance but Inc has taken the fight into the clinch.

Inc breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Murphy closes the distance and clinches.
Inc lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Inc tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Murphy smiles and moves away.
Inc takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murphy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Inc. Inc circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nice defenses there by Inc.
Inc blocks a head kick by Murphy.
Murphy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Inc throws out the jab.
Inc lands a nice looking body shot.

Inc misses with a wild body shot.
Inc connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Murphy misses the jab.
A jab lands there for Murphy.
Charlie Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murphy moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


It looks like Dick Inc has been cut.
Murphy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Inc moves away.
Inc drops down looking for a counter takedown but Murphy sprawls and moves away.
Murphy staying out of range there.
Murphy cracks Inc with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Inc misses with a left hand
and Murphy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Murphy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Inc manages to avoid it.
Murphy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Inc works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Inc tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Murphy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Inc feinted with a counter takedown.
Murphy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Murphy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.


Murphy is rocked!

Murphy lands a left and a right that send Inc crashing to the mat, dazed. Murphy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Inc is rocked!
Charlie Murphy seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Inc misses with a low kick.
Oh Inc is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Murphy moves into the clinch successfully.
Murphy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Inc seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice body punch from Murphy - that landed with a thud.
A short uppercut from Murphy.
Inc avoids the elbow strike from Murphy, against the cage.
Murphy is looking to control Inc's arms but Inc gets an underhook and turns him. Now Murphy has his back to the cage.
Inc avoids a wild elbow strike from Murphy.
Murphy landing knees to the head.

Murphy drops Inc with a big knee straight up the middle! Inc is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Charlie Murphy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Murphy throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Inc stumbling backwards into the cage! Inc bounces back off the cage towards Murphy, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Murphy lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Murphy celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Charlie Murphy!
