Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nicholas Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luc Bordeaux!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bordeaux as he avoids it easily.
Bordeaux takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Palmer shoots in but no luck this time.
Bordeaux gets the takedown into side control.
Bordeaux fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Bordeaux works to advance to full mount. Palmer defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Palmer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bordeaux on the ground.
Bordeaux goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Palmer is on top in guard.
Bordeaux wants to sweep here but Palmer controlling him for the moment.
Palmer content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Bordeaux is controlling Palmer's posture.
Bordeaux is trying to control the position but Palmer postures up.
Palmer trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bordeaux working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Palmer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Palmer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bordeaux is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bordeaux throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Palmer trying to control but Bordeaux is working from the bottom.
Palmer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bordeaux manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Palmer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Palmer tries to get out of the position.
Bordeaux can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Palmer is looking to escape.
Palmer bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bordeaux looking for a triangle here. Palmer is fighting it but it looks tight! Bordeaux pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Palmer is tapping out - this one is all over!
