The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki takes a swing at De Anda's ribcage but misses.
No joy there for De Anda, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aoki lands with an uppercut that bounces De Anda off the cage and back into range.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Taiki Aoki.
