Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arturo Atunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Stapleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stapleton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stick To Your Guns - Against Them All. On his way into the cage it seems that Arturo Atunes has been attacked by a crazed fan! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atunes misses with an uppercut.
Atunes attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Atunes closes the distance and pushes Stapleton back into the cage.
Stapleton wants to get back to striking at distance but Atunes won't allow it.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Atunes.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Stapleton creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Atunes lands with a light punch inside.
Stapleton tries to circle away but Atunes has him pinned against the cage.
Atunes scores with an uppercut up the middle.


It looks like Jeremy Stapleton has been cut.
Stapleton struggles to land a body shot inside as Atunes controls his hands.
Atunes misses with a hook from the clinch.
Stapleton tries to throw a body punch but Atunes avoids it by throwing Stapleton back against the cage.
Atunes lands a shoulder strike.
Atunes trying to control the position but instead, Stapleton has worked for underhooks and has pushed Atunes into the cage.
Stapleton misses with a body punch.
We've been hearing reports that Atunes has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Stapleton misses with a short punch on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stapleton.
Atunes misses with a punch on the inside.
A right hook to the body lands for Atunes.

Stapleton lands a hook that snaps the head of Atunes backwards.

Atunes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Atunes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stapleton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Atunes.
Atunes tries to close the distance and clinch but Stapleton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Atunes slips a jab from Stapleton.
Atunes is looking to slow Stapleton down with leg kicks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Atunes looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jeremy Stapleton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
An inside leg kick lands from Stapleton.
Atunes feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stapleton's calf.
Stapleton throws a body punch but Atunes moves out of range.

Stapleton dips to his left and cracks Atunes with an uppercut!
Atunes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stapleton throws an overhand right that lands on Atunes's shoulder, as Atunes tries to avoid the shot.
Atunes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Stapleton lands a lovely overhand right.
Atunes swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Stapleton thumps Atunes with a low kick.
Atunes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Stapleton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Atunes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Atunes shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Stapleton keeps the fight on the outside.
Stapleton throws a shot from downtown. Atunes moves away and avoids it.
Stapleton lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Stapleton checks a low kick from Atunes.
Atunes circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Stapleton drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Atunes follows Stapleton to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
