Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roger Baumgartner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grey Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baumgartner scores with a nice right hand.

Wolf lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


It looks like Roger Baumgartner has been cut.

We've been informed that Wolf has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

The referee asks Baumgartner politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Baumgartner prefers to stall for the moment though.
Baumgartner seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wolf for as long as he can get away with.

We've been hearing good reports from Baumgartner's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Wolf ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wolf rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Baumgartner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Wolf uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baumgartner.
Baumgartner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Baumgartner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wolf seems to have recovered his senses.
Baumgartner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Baumgartner is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Wolf defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Wolf is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Baumgartner off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Baumgartner is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
You can see the frustration on Wolf's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
