Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harver Danjah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Potlach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trevor Potlach will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harver Danjah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Trevor Potlach!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danjah misses with a takedown attempt - Potlach sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Danjah looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Potlach!

Potlach lands a high kick to the side of Danjah's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Potlach dives into guard, looking to finish.

Danjah is looking for a triangle but Potlach pushes his legs off easily.
Potlach stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Danjah swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Potlach is looking to stand up but Danjah won't let him.
Potlach wants to control from the top but Danjah keeps moving.
Potlach wants to get up but he can't break Danjah's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Potlach is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Potlach wanted to stand there but Danjah had control of the position.

Potlach stands and steps away. Danjah gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Potlach lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Potlach will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Danjah up against the cage.
Potlach is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Danjah pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Potlach creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Danjah's defenses.

Danjah drops back, looking for a kneebar! Potlach looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Potlach looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Potlach!
Potlach really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Danjah. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Potlach tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Potlach stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Potlach misses with the combination.
Potlach lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Danjah backs up against the cage.
Potlach looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Potlach gets a clinch.

Potlach breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Potlach lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Potlach smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Danjah has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Potlach.

Danjah tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Potlach's elbow.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Danjah could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

That was a close second round but I would say that Harver Danjah will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Potlach looks to land a combination. Danjah sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Potlach changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Danjah tries to avoid it but Potlach manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Danjah to the ground. Danjah escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Horrible takedown by Danjah or perhaps it was just good defense by Potlach which made him look bad.

Potlach has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Potlach throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Danjah takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Potlach bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A nice combination there by Potlach.
Potlach is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Potlach connects with a high kick.
Potlach misses with a jab, cross combination.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Trevor Potlach.
I think Potlach has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
