Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Gemgi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Vercetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vercetti looks to land a right hand but Gemgi moved out of range.
Vercetti throws a sloppy head kick and Gemgi moves out of range easily.
Vercetti lands with a thumping leg kick.
A big left from Vercetti misses.
Gemgi connects with a crisp jab.
Gemgi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gemgi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gemgi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Vercetti.
Gemgi moves out of range of the strikes.
Gemgi misses with a left hand
and Vercetti counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gemgi is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Gemgi cracks Vercetti with an open hand slap.

Gemgi moves out of range as Vercetti strikes.

Vercetti will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Vercetti misses with a looping right.
Vercetti throws the left hand but Gemgi avoids the punch easily.
Vercetti tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vercetti throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gemgi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Vercetti misses with an uppercut. Gemgi saw that one coming.

Vercetti moves out of range of the leg kick from Gemgi.
Vercetti pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gemgi is out of range and Vercetti settles back down.
Tommy Vercetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gemgi misses with a leg kick
and Vercetti makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Vercetti fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gemgi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Nice uppercut there from Vercetti.
Gemgi throws a lazy right hand but Vercetti sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
An inside leg kick from Gemgi misses.
Gemgi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gemgi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Vercetti pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gemgi connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Vercetti swings widly with a right hand
and Vercetti takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gemgi sizes up Vercetti with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Vercetti sends Gemgi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Vercetti is motioning to the referee to let Gemgi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Gemgi is rocked!

Vercetti buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oh Gemgi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gemgi fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Vercetti checks it well.
Vercetti measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Gemgi! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
