Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Attilius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Athan Stamatis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Stamatis's choice of entrance music: Lose Yourself. On his way into the cage it seems that Marcus Attilius has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marcus Attilius seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Attilius blocks the low kick.
Stamatis cracks the inside of Attilius's front leg.
Stamatis swings for the body but Attilius moves out of range.
Attilius takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Stamatis cracks a nice hook into Attilius's ribs.
Stamatis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Attilius wants to get back to his feet but Stamatis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Stamatis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Attilius's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Stamatis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Attilius has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Attilius and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Stamatis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Athan Stamatis decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
