Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyprien Noe Cyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ladislav Hemsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cyr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Frog Song. Hemsky has chosen Onward to Victory as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ladislav Hemsky enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cyprien Noe Cyr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ladislav Hemsky! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hemsky thuds a left hand into Cyr's body. Cyr thows a body kick. Hemsky tries to catch it but that hurt him. Cyr has a takedown stuffed. Cyr throws a wild body kick that Hemsky sees coming a mile off. Cyr gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Cyr throws a body shot but no joy. Cyr tries to land a leg kick but Hemsky saw it coming and moves away.
Cyr moves to clinch but Hemsky breaks away and Hemsky counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cyr thinking. A cross from Hemsky lands. Cyr does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Cyr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hemsky. Cyr shoots and misses and Hemsky counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Cyr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Some wild striking there from Cyr.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hemsky darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Hemsky takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cyr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hemsky is trying to get back to full guard. Cyr is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hemsky wants to get back to full guard. Hemsky is defending against the submission attempts here by Cyr.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cyr is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cyr looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Cyr is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hemsky trying to control but Cyr postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hemsky tries to roll over but Cyr keeps him under control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The fighters are battling for position here. Hemsky manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Cyr won't allow Hemsky to sweep him here. Cyr works a leg free and moves into half guard. Cyr is trying to work for a kimura but Hemsky is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hemsky wants to improve his position but Cyr is controlling well.
Cyr thows a huge punch but Hemsky dodges it nicely.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice defenses there by Cyr. Hemsky looks to score with a jab to the body but Cyr is just out of range. Hemsky blocks the body kick.
An inside leg kick from Cyr misses. Cyr throws a nice outside leg kick. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hemsky gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cyr to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hemsky has his hands on Cyr's head, controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cyprien Noe Cyr dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cyr shoots and misses and Hemsky counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Hemsky lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hemsky lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Cyr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hemsky manages to avoid it. Cyr motions for Hemsky to come forward. Cyr throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Cyr misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hemsky lands a lovely overhand right. Hemsky bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cyr's head backwards. Hemsky lands with a right hand. Cyr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hemsky manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hemsky holds on and takes a little breather. Hemsky avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cyr trying to control but Hemsky is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cyr looking to pass the guard. Hemsky looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cyr is one step ahead there. Hemsky keeping moving, preventing Cyr from controlling successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cyr won't allow Hemsky to sweep him here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hemsky has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hemsky throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hemsky looks to land a combination. Cyr sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Cyprien Noe Cyr has been cut. Cyr tries to move into range but Hemsky moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Cyr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hemsky scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cyr in his tracks. Hemsky has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hemsky lands a shot to the body. Cyr takes a shot to the head. Hemsky lands a nice knee to the body. Hemsky tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cyr avoids it. Cyr missing with knees to the body.
Cyr throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A short uppercut from Hemsky. Cyr tries to land a knee to the head but Hemsky blocks with his arms.
Hemsky throws a head punch that misses. A shot in the inside from Hemsky. Cyr landing knees to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hemsky scores with an uppercut up the middle. Hemsky lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A head punch on the inside from Hemsky fails to land. Cyr tries to land a knee to the head but Hemsky blocks with his arms.
Hemsky swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hemsky lands on the inside with an uppercut. Cyr struggles to land a body shot inside as Hemsky controls his hands.

Hemsky has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Hemsky doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hemsky tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Hemsky is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cyr is defending well for now. Hemsky blocks an elbow strike. Hemsky lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Cyr blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Cyr can't find room to land a body shot as Hemsky controls the action.

Cyr is rocked! Cyr fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Oh Cyr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cyprien Noe Cyr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cyr tries to land knees in the clinch but Hemsky avoids the damage to the body. Cyr seems to have got his legs back now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hemsky looking to slow down the pace here. Cyr on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hemsky lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cyr backwards. Hemsky throws a big uppercut that drops Cyr! More strikes from Hemsky and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Cyr lies dazed against the cage as Hemsky celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ladislav Hemsky! Ladislav Hemsky gave a mention to Hell's Balls Recovery (160) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
