Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toshiro Montero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tired and clearly flustered, he entered the arena late and after a little discussion it was decided that the bout should take place. Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toshiro Montero and Willie Bader. Chooooooooon! I think Montero might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Danzig - Mother . Toshiro Montero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Toshiro Montero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Willie Bader! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montero staying out of range there. Montero swats away the attempt to clinch by Bader. Bader lands a right hook to the body.
Bader's coach down at Kebab House was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bader's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Bader scores with a decent looking hook. Montero takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Montero misses with a straight left. Montero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Montero waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bader. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bader thows a leg kick but Montero checks it and Montero counters with a single leg into guard. Bader didn't expect that. Montero wants to control from the top but Bader keeps moving. Montero keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bader's head. Bader is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Montero dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montero working away. Montero has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bader manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Bader is trying to stand back up but Montero is controlling him
Montero throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Montero thows a huge punch but Bader dodges it nicely.
Bader is trying to stand up here but Montero is controlling him well. Montero passes to side control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bader wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Montero working the body and head with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montero misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Montero working away. Montero wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bader keeps working. Bader explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Good leg kick by Montero there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Montero on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bader. Bader obviously looking to wear him down.
Nice takedown defense from Bader. No joy for Montero on that attempt. Bader checks a leg kick. Bader checks a low kick from Montero. A jab from Bader misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bader throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Willie Bader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bader scores with a crisp jab that stopped Montero in his tracks. Bader throws a low kick but it's checked well by Montero. Bader walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Montero checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Bader missing with a left hand there. Montero was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bader throws an off balance right hand
and Montero counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Montero looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Montero tries to pass to full mount but Bader defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bader is in trouble now - Montero has advanced to mount! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bader is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Montero scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Montero looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bader is trying to stand. Bader can't escape the position.
Bader sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Bader wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Toshiro Montero dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Montero throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bader. Montero tried to score with a low kick but Bader checks it. Bader misses with a hook. Bader lands a lovely overhand right. Bader throws a head kick but Montero moves out of range.
A jab from Montero finds it's way through Bader's defenses. Montero shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bader pinned against the ropes. Bader gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. No joy there for Montero, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bader wants to slow Montero down by chopping away at his legs. Bader ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Montero moves away. A looping hook to the body misses from Montero. Bader does a little dance to reset his feet. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bader, right into the meat.
Bader tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Montero is able to avoid easily. Jab, jab by Bader - just one landing. Montero shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bader is trying to stand back up but Montero is controlling him
Montero is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montero seems to be working for a kimura but Bader defends the submission attempt. Bader is looking to escape. Bader is doing well to control the position and prevent Montero from advancing to side control. Toshiro Montero overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bader pushes Montero off and gets back to his feet. Willie Bader is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Montero lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Montero throws a lazy right hand but Bader sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Montero looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montero misses with a body kick. Bader tries to clinch but Montero moves out of range. Bader moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Montero throws a leg kick but Bader sees it coming and checks it nicely. Montero checks the leg kick. Montero looking to score a takedown here. Bader is defending well but Montero drives through and ends up in Bader's guard. Montero trying to control the position from guard on top but Bader is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bader is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Montero is controlling him. Bader keeping moving, preventing Montero from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bader wants to stand up but Montero is controlling him. Montero with a nice head shot there. Bader is trying to keep Montero in close.
Montero slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bader tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Montero wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Montero wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bader, who protects the arm well. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Montero tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Bader wants to control but Montero postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Toshiro Montero dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Montero's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bader connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Montero scrambles back to his feet. Montero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bader as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bader throws a push kick but Montero slaps the foot to one side. Bader misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montero scores with a body shot.
Montero connects with a leg kick. Bader looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Bader pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bader avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Montero avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Bader is looking to clinch. Bader throws a body punch but Montero moves out of range. Montero avoids the body shot from Bader.
Bader keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Toshiro Montero. That's going to take a lot out of him. Montero looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Willie Bader has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montero fails with a takedown attempt. Montero has his takedown stuffed and Bader counters with a nice low kick that buckles Montero's knee momentarily. Bader goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Montero scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Montero circles away from the clinch attempt.
Montero keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bader. Bader throws a body shot but no joy. Bader lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Montero at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bader swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montero takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Montero jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bader connects with a body shot. A left lands for Bader. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Montero checks a leg kick. Toshiro Montero is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Montero takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Montero throws a nice inside leg kick. Bader thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Montero if he has to take too many more of those.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Montero crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bader - the referee stops the clock and Montero gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bader. Montero manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bader works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bader manages to avoid it. Bader swings away with a leg kick that misses. Bader looks for the body kick but Montero saw that one coming. Bader chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Montero ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Montero shoots in looking for a takedown. Bader tries to sprawl out of it but Montero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Bader manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bader lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Montero at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight! Willie Bader comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Montero has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Toshiro Montero! A less than humble Toshiro Montero misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
