Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ashot Rakobesyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Boloev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rakobesyan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to gimn armenii. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakobesyan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Ruslan Boloev has been cut.
Boloev shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rakobesyan pinned against the cage. Rakobesyan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rakobesyan misses with a jab, cross combination.

Boloev changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rakobesyan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Boloev is putting a hurting on Rakobesyan here, landing some big shots from side control.

Boloev postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boloev is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Boloev extends the arm and Rakobesyan is forced to tap!
