Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Armen Jugurla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Commisioner Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Gordon. Those never looked like landing.
Jugurla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Armen Jugurla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jugurla throws a sloppy head kick and Gordon moves out of range easily.

We've been informed that Gordon has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gordon feints a jab promting Jugurla to slip. Gordon then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jugurla slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Armen Jugurla has been cut.
Gordon blocks a head kick by Jugurla.
Jugurla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gordon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jugurla circles away quickly and effectively.
Gordon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gordon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jugurla tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gordon is in Jugurla's guard.

Jugurla wants to get back to his feet but Gordon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gordon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gordon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jugurla's head backwards.
Jugurla closes the distance looking to clinch
and Gordon counters with a three punch combo that has Jugurla backing up. Jugurla nods at Gordon to acknowledge the strikes.

Jugurla is rocked!

Gordon is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Jugurla is in big trouble! Gordon is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Jugurla. Poor guy.
