Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Amir Bin Armein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Amir Bin Armein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tyson Walker!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Walker has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Bin Armein tries to clinch but Walker is having none of it.
Walker slaps away a takedown attempt from Bin Armein, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Walker throws a head kick that misses.
Bin Armein definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Bin Armein tries to keep at a distance but Walker has taken the fight into the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bin Armein throws a head punch that misses.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Walker is trying to break the clinch but Bin Armein has him pressed against the cage.

Bin Armein breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Walker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bin Armein napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bin Armein really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walker takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Walker has the hooks in. Bin Armein is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Walker gets his hands free as Bin Armein looks to control.

Bin Armein is trying to stand back up.
Bin Armein covering up well under a series of strikes from Walker.
Walker wants to control but Bin Armein is keeping busy.
Bin Armein is trying to break free.
Bin Armein trying to get back to his feet but Walker is in full control for now.

Walker has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bin Armein has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Bin Armein trying to get back to his feet but Walker is in full control for now.
Walker trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Bin Armein is trying to get back to his feet but Walker has full control of the position and if anything, Bin Armein has just worked his way into a worse spot.

You can see the frustration on Bin Armein's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Walker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's time! Bin Armein's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Walker looks to land a body kick but Bin Armein moved away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bin Armein looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bin Armein wants to clinch.
Walker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Walker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Walker fails with an attempt to clinch.

Bin Armein gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Walker tries to pull guard but Bin Armein holds him up against the cage and eventually Walker drops back down to his feet.

Bin Armein has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Walker is trying to keep an underhook but Bin Armein manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Walker is looking to control Bin Armein's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Walker avoid being mounted?

Bin Armein is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Walker is just riding it out for now. Bin Armein eventually gives up the hold.

Walker moves into full guard.
Bin Armein has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Walker is proving hard to escape from.
Bin Armein wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.
Bin Armein tries to stand but Walker is controlling from the bottom.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Walker is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bin Armein knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Walker on the ground.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Bin Armein has Walker up against the cage in a clinch.
Bin Armein is pushing Walker up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Bin Armein throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Walker blocks it with crossed arms.

Bin Armein will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Walker up against the cage.

Amir Bin Armein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Walker.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Bin Armein is looking for a triangle here but Walker uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Walker is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bin Armein has escaped the position, nice work there.

Bin Armein tries to bench press Walker off him but Walker keeps the position.

Walker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bin Armein keeps working.

Bin Armein pushes Walker away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Walker gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Walker is looking to take a break and control but Bin Armein is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Walker swats away the attempt to clinch by Bin Armein.
Bin Armein tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bin Armein clinches.
Bin Armein misses with a short punch on the inside.
Bin Armein stalls.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bin Armein jumps guard but Walker stands there with Bin Armein around his waist. Bin Armein gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bin Armein throws a knee to the head but misses.

Bin Armein ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bin Armein no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Walker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bin Armein has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walker has managed to get both his arms back between Bin Armein's legs - danger averted.
Walker sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bin Armein's guard.
Walker passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bin Armein!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Walker with shots to the head and body - Bin Armein looks very uncomfortable down there.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Amir Bin Armein.
I think Bin Armein has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
