The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hemmo misses with an uppercut
and Kill counters with a shoot takedown. Hemmo fights it but they end up in guard.
Kill passes Hemmo's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hemmo wants to get back to full guard.
Kill is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hemmo makes his way to full guard, as Kill worked for a kimura.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kill pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hemmo is keeping the position for now.
Kill advances to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kill maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hemmo could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kill has cracked it and Hemmo is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kill!
