Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mustafa Shabazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lanch Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lanch Boyer looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mustafa Shabazz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lanch Boyer! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Shabazz checks it well. Boyer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Boyer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Boyer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Shabazz moves into the clinch. Boyer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Shabazz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boyer looks winded! Boyer stops a takedown attempt from Shabazz.
Boyer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Shabazz just stands there and leans against the cage. Mustafa Shabazz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lanch Boyer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boyer gets underhooks to prevent Shabazz's takedown attempt.
Shabazz drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boyer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boyer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyer has taken the fight to the clinch.

Shabazz gets control of Boyer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Shabazz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Shabazz has his hands on Boyer's head, controlling the position. Shabazz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boyer defends it easily. Boyer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shabazz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shabazz is trying to control the position but Boyer postures up. Shabazz is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Boyer frees his head nicely. Oh but Shabazz has switched to an armbar! Boyer is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Mustafa Shabazz!
