Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kellen Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khasym Nazarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khasym Nazarov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Khasym Nazarov!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrick tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Nazarov is able to avoid easily.
Nazarov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Patrick pinned against the cage. Patrick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nazarov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Patrick.
Nazarov's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Nazarov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Patrick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nazarov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Patrick takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nazarov is looking to clinch but Patrick is avoiding it.

Patrick rushes Nazarov and presses him up against the cage.
Nazarov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Patrick smiles and moves away.
Patrick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Patrick wants it to stay on the feet.
Kellen Patrick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khasym Nazarov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nazarov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Patrick but Patrick pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Patrick pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Nazarov tries to keep at a distance but Patrick has taken the fight into the clinch.

Patrick manages to break the clinch.
Patrick throws a nice looking combination but Nazarov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Patrick gets a clinch.
Patrick is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Patrick scores with a hook to the body.
Nazarov looks winded!

Patrick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Patrick scores with a spinning back kick!
Nazarov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Patrick.
Patrick throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Khasym Nazarov has been cut.
Nazarov tries a head kick but it misses.

Patrick closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Patrick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Nazarov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Patrick to score an easy takedown into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Patrick landing some decent shots from guard.

Patrick stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Nazarov throws a low kick but Patrick moves out of range easily.
Nazarov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Patrick swivels and escapes.
Nazarov thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Patrick if he has to take too many more of those.
Nazarov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Patrick lands a big head kick that sends Nazarov tumbling to the mat! Patrick takes a step backwards and waves Nazarov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Nazarov is rocked!
Nazarov attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Nazarov is still on wobbly legs! Can Patrick finish him?
Nazarov finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nazarov seems to have recovered his senses.
Patrick ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Nazarov out cold! The fight is over!
