Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Mayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshihiro Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayo comes to the cage accompanied by Super Furry Animals - Golden Retriever. Tanaka has chosen Stronger by Kanye West as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayo misses the shot to the body.
Mayo missing with a left hand there. Tanaka was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Chris Mayo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mayo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Mayo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tanaka sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Tanaka takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Mayo lands a big shot there that rocks Tanaka but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Tanaka is in all sorts of trouble here.

Mayo loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Tanaka scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mayo land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mayo stands and salutes the crowd.
