The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tiernan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Patrick Tiernan has been cut.
Rogers throws a right hand that Tiernan ducks under and follows up with a left that Tiernan also avoids with ease.
Rogers circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rogers works over Tiernan's head and body with a nice combination.
An inside leg kick from Tiernan misses.
Tiernan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rogers swats away the attempt to clinch by Tiernan.
Rogers misses with a two punch combination.
Tiernan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rogers swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tiernan clinches with his opponent.
Rogers fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tiernan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Rogers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oooooh!!! Rogers has knocked Tiernan down with a huge combo! Rogers steps away and waves a wobbly Tiernan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Rogers misses with a wild combination.
Tiernan is still on wobbly legs! Can Rogers finish him?

Rogers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Steve Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rogers is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Tiernan flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Tiernan is out cold! Rogers holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
