Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yiotis Egomitis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dickie Felterbush!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egomitis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Felterbush has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Egomitis has managed to clinch.
Felterbush softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Egomitis misses with a punch to the body.
Egomitis is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Egomitis trying to control the position but instead, Felterbush has worked for underhooks and has pushed Egomitis into the cage.

We've been hearing good reports from Egomitis's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Felterbush throws a hook to the side of Egomitis's head but Egomitis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Egomitis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Felterbush can do to turn this around?

Felterbush closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Egomitis's guard.

Dickie Felterbush showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Egomitis does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Felterbush lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Egomitis thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Felterbush if he has to take too many more of those.
