Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stardust Corpsegrinder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JB Brubaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brubaker has chosen August Burns Red - Poor Millionaire as his entrance music. Stardust Corpsegrinder has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stardust Corpsegrinder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, JB Brubaker!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Brubaker.
Corpsegrinder throws a right hand that Brubaker ducks under and follows up with a left that Brubaker also avoids with ease.
Brubaker blocks a head kick by Corpsegrinder.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brubaker has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Corpsegrinder connects with a right hand. Brubaker shakes it off.
Brubaker moves out of range of the strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Corpsegrinder enables Brubaker to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Corpsegrinder manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Brubaker stays in close to Corpsegrinder's body and controls the position.

Corpsegrinder is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brubaker defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brubaker wants to clinch.

Corpsegrinder fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brubaker sprawls well initially but Corpsegrinder persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Brubaker is controlling Corpsegrinder's trapped leg to prevent Corpsegrinder from advancing to side control.
Corpsegrinder throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Brubaker to regain full guard.
Brubaker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Corpsegrinder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brubaker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Brubaker throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but JB Brubaker will probably get the nod.
That's time! Corpsegrinder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Corpsegrinder lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

That was a close second round but I would say that Stardust Corpsegrinder will probably get the nod.

Corpsegrinder goes for a double leg but Brubaker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brubaker continues to drive forward.

Corpsegrinder is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Brubaker tries to land a leg kick but Corpsegrinder saw it coming and moves away.
Corpsegrinder throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Corpsegrinder shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brubaker pinned against the cage. Brubaker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brubaker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Corpsegrinder.
Corpsegrinder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brubaker tries to avoid it but Corpsegrinder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brubaker to the ground. Brubaker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

JB Brubaker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brubaker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
